Secure
Socket Layer (SSL)
Every
time you make a purchase on Commerce Blvd, you can rest
assure that your credit information is safe and secure.
After you enter your card information, Commerce Blvd sends
the encrypted credit card information using 128 bit Secure
Socket Layer technology to our secure server. The
server then sends the data through the authorization
network to the appropriate card issuer's bank over a
secure, proprietary connection. When the authorization
process is complete (which takes around five seconds) you
will receive an approval or decline response, and the
server stores the transaction. If approved, you will
automatically receive a receipt via e-mail. Transactions
are automatically settled each day and funded within 2-3
days.
Secure
Socket Layer (SSL) technology secretly encodes information
that is being sent over the Internet between your computer
and the server, helping to ensure that the information
remains confidential.
The use of SSL requires that you have an SSL compatible
browser. Currently, Netscape 2.0 or higher, Microsoft's
Internet Explorer 2.0 or higher, and the latest version of
AOL are all SSL-compatible. (Note that older versions of
these browsers will not support SSL sessions). If you
don't have a browser with SSL capabilities, you can
download an SSL browser from either the links below for
free.
